The formal notice given by a lessor to a lessee of an office or other business premises to vacate the leased premises.
Following notice of termination of the lease agreement for an office or other business premises (not intended for small and medium-sized businesses), the lease will terminate at a particular moment (depending on the notice period). In principle, this does not mean that a lessee also has to vacate the leased premises. This is because the lessor must also give written notice of eviction by a time that may not fall before the end of the lease (but may after). Often, the termination letter also gives notice of eviction. The lessee will then receive protection against eviction.
