In the next weeks, we aim to add some more items on our main English website in respect to civil proceedings / civil litigation in The Netherlands. For a start, we have added a chapter on the rules of evidence in Dutch law on Civil Proceedings to our litigation menu. This chapter can be read here.
The Dutch Code of Civil Proceedings contains (apart from the rules on how the proceedings are conducted) the rules on (civil) evidence (including the rules on how evidence should be assessed, and how evidence by ways of hearing witnesses should be obtained).
The Dutch lawyers of AMS specialize in civil proceedings and corporate litigation. Should you require more information, please contact Hidde Reitsma, partner at AMS. Hidde successfully conducted many proceedings before Dutch Districts Courts and Courts of Appeal. Should you have any question with respect to litigation in The Netherlands, or any related issue, please feel free to contact him on +31203080315 or by email.
